• Serve as the main customer interface for all trim-related topics, including R&D, change management, and processes
• Manage the customer release process for trim components and materials
• Organize and lead regular Trim & Foam alignment meetings with the customer
• Lead and prepare regular customer onside trim reviews
• Act as the internal interface between JIT plant, sewing plant, and R&D in China for all trim-related matters
• Setup and track the Trim development plan in alignment with R&D and overall program timing
• Coordinate technical topics and material releases with Tier-3 trim suppliers
• Support Purchasing during the sourcing process for Tier-3 suppliers
• Assist JIT and Trim plants with failure root cause analysis and feasibility studies
• Support Foam Design activities related to trim topics
• Technical degree as Textil/Trim Engineer (m/f/d), or equivalent education with 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in automotive industry
• Experience in complete seat business
• Experience as Project Lead and direct OEM customer interaction
• Good capabilities in trim pattern design and upholstery
• Good knowledge of engineering change management and release processes
• Good understanding of product development, Trim and complete seat manufacturing, processes and industrialization
• Good knowledge of Optitex 25 2D/3D software or equal
• Proficient in MS Office
• Willingness to travel (~40%) to support the plants during launch phase
• Fluent German and English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Extensive experience in complete seat development is mandatory
• Initial experience with electrical component integration
• Strong CATIA skills and solid 3D/ 2D design capabilities
• Experience with PLM systems
• Proficient in MS Office
• Willingness to travel (~40%) to production plants and testing laboratories
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
